SHARING ON BEHALF OF DAP!!

GET A FREE SCREENING MAMMOGRAM AT DAP HEALTH
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To mark it, DAP Health is offering free mobile health screening mammograms at six locations on 13 days from October 3 to December 19.

The events are open to individuals 40 or older who are asymptomatic (no breast lumps or breast/chest symptoms) and who have not had a mammogram (screening or diagnostic) within the last 12 months. Those insured by CHG, Molina, and IEHP (as well as the uninsured and underinsured) are welcome.

Those experiencing any breast/chest problems can call (760) 507-7352 to schedule a visit with an OB-GYN at a DAP Health women’s health clinic, since they may need a test or exam that is different from a screening mammogram. They may also simply fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

Undergoing a mobile screening mammogram will take approximately 10 minutes. Patients will be assigned a breast cancer navigator who will guide them from the time they receive their screening to the time they obtain their results (within three weeks). If their results are abnormal, their breast cancer navigator will assist them in scheduling and receiving additional imagining (which could be a diagnostic mammogram and/or ultrasound).
