The L-Fund ‘s Afternoon of Art
Held at the Worthington-Fein private museum in Palm Springs
Celebrating The L-Fund, art and the creative works of our gracious hostess, Nancy Worthington, was the goal for a sold-out gathering at the private Worthington-Fein museum in Palm Springs on October 10, 2021.
With COVID precautions in mind, the beautful limited-ticket outdoor party served as a reintroduction for The L-Fund to in-person events for the first time since January 2020. Attendees enjoyed exploring Nancy’s artwork, delicious food and wine, the music stylings of Nick Sosa, and a beautiful reading by the L-Fund’s Board Co-Chair Doris Reed of her poem “Joy.”
Art Historian, Susan Platt, has said of Nancy Worthington’s work, “In the tradition of Bosch and Breughel, Worthington feels the injustices and ironies of our society and uses her art as a vehicle for arousing our awareness.” In short, Nancy’s work speaks directly and compellingly to the critical cultural moment we now are in.
Media coverage and the gorgeous event photography of Corlyce M. Olivieri captured the event for posterity.
The L-Fund extends its utmost gratitude to the following sponsors, donors and volunteers:
